Discover the area, between sea, history and flavours

Welcome to Agriturismo Il Corbezzolo. From our location, you can explore the heart of the Etruscan Coast.

San Vincenzo & Its Marina

San Vincenzo Marina is about much more than just the sea! It is a perfect blend of relaxation, elegance and hospitality. Its tourist marina is the vibrant heart of the town’s social life, surrounded by trendy venues that are ideal for summer evenings.

As well as being a lively meeting place, the marina is also the perfect starting point for unforgettable boat trips to discover the beautiful islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.

Not to be missed is the Passeggiata del Marinaio, an evocative 800-metre walkway along the rocky coastline, culminating in the majestic statue created by artist Giampaolo Talani, which has become a true symbol of the area.

The Coastline: enchanting beauty and freedom

Golden sand, dunes and centuries-old pine forests just a few minutes away.

The Etruscan Coast offers an authentic seaside experience surrounded by nature:

  • Spiaggia Selvaggia (North San Vincenzo): Just beyond the border with Castagneto Carducci stretches a 5-km-long, completely unspoilt coastline. The beach is free, with no beach resorts, and is protected by wild Mediterranean vegetation.
  • Rimigliano Park: A natural paradise where Mediterranean scrub meets crystal-clear waters. Perfect for those looking to relax in the shade of the pine forest; at Entrance 5, Lago Verde also hosts evenings with live music.
  • Gulf of Baratti: A unique natural amphitheatre! A magical place with calm, transparent waters, perfect for snorkelling.
  • Eastern Coast (Torre Mozza and Carbonifera): White sandy beaches with shallow waters that gently slope into the sea, ideal for families.

Food & Wine: The Gourmet Heart of Tuscany

Excellence in wine and extra virgin olive oil.

Staying in Via San Bartolo means being in the heart of one of the world’s most prestigious wine-growing areas.

• Bolgheri Wine Routes: We are just a short distance from Bolgheri. You can visit legendary wineries such as Ornellaia and Sassicaia, as well as discover small emerging producers focused on organic and biodynamic viticulture.

• Winery Experiences: Tours through vineyards and barrel cellars to discover the secrets of authentic Tuscan flavours and taste local extra virgin olive oil, one of the outstanding products of these hills.

Cooking Classes: In the surrounding area, you can take part in classes to learn the secrets of fresh pasta and traditional Maremma dishes.

History & Villages: A Journey Through Time

The countryside surrounding Agriturismo Il Corbezzolo is dotted with some of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, all wonderfully preserved:

  • Campiglia Marittima: A maze of cobbled streets overlooking the valley from its centuries-old fortress.
  • Populonia: The ancient Etruscan town built on a promontory. Its medieval village and 14th-century castle offer breathtaking views over the entire Tuscan Archipelago.
  • Bolgheri: Famous for its spectacular Viale dei Cipressi, it is a charming 19th-century gem filled with wine bars and artisan shops.
  • Suvereto: A perfectly preserved medieval village where time seems to have stood still among the Town Hall and ancient Romanesque churches.

Thermal Wellness: Revitalise Your Senses

Val di Cornia is a true haven of well-being, where underground geothermal activity creates peaceful places that are perfect for restoring body and mind. If you are looking for a relaxing day, the area offers fascinating experiences ranging from ancient history to unspoilt nature.

The thermal experience in this part of Tuscany is a rejuvenating journey through history and nature. Just a short distance from the coast, in the Venturina area, you can immerse yourself in natural spring waters that maintain a constant temperature of around 36°C. This ancient site has been visited since pre-Roman times, with thermal water rising directly from the seabed.

Heading inland, among the lush hills of Sassetta, the experience becomes even more immersive: here, the pools are fed by springs emerging at temperatures above 50°C, while the facilities, built with local stone and wood, blend harmoniously into the surrounding vegetation.

Beyond the Local Area: Tuscany Within Easy Reach

Thanks to our strategic location, you can enrich your holiday with day trips, many of which are also easily accessible by train from San Vincenzo:
